This symposium aimed to encourage arts sector growth and resilience by providing an opportunity for participants to gather, learn, connect, and collaborate, build working relationships within the industry on both regional and national levels, develop new skills and participate in professional development opportunities.

CONVERGENCE
October 18-20, 2024, Moncton, NB

 From October 18–20, 2024, ArtsLink NB proudly presented the Arts Atlantic Symposium (AAS) in the Greater Moncton Area, a three-day multidisciplinary gathering that brought together over 250 registered delegates and countless public participants from across Atlantic Canada. Designed as both an industry conference and a public celebration of the arts, AAS featured a robust program of keynote speakers, panel discussions, artist talks, workshops, live performances, and visual art exhibitions, all formatted around the theme of “Convergence.”

ArtsLink NB’s inaugural Arts Atlantic Symposium (AAS) was a three- day, multidisciplinary conference for artists and arts professionals

across the Atlantic provinces that took place October 21–23, 2022, in Saint John. Centred around the theme of “future possible,” the aim of the symposium was to provide an opportunity for participants to gather, learn, connect, and collaborate, to build working relationships within the industry on both regional and national levels, develop new skills, and participate in professional development opportunities. The goal of the conference was to encourage arts sector growth and resilience.
